Look if you're eating your breakfast we advise you put down your spoon because it's being claimed that Liam Payne is dating none other than Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
You just choked on your cereal, didn't you? We told you to put down your spoon.
In a seriously shocking plot twist, 22-year-old Liam has apparently told friends he is 'madly n love' with 32-year-old Cheryl, with a source telling The Sun (who else) that 'This is the real deal'.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? No but really: whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!
Ignoring all the crap about them having 'matching tattoos' - because literally how many people have rose tatts, stop being tenuous - sources claim that Liam and Chez have been dating since December, after One Direction appeared on The X Factor final.
DECEMBER.
Last night a friend of the pair revealed: "Cheryl and Liam are in a relationship. It was unexpected but they've both made each other incredibly happy.
"Cheryl has obviously known Liam for many years. They've always got on well because they are both northern and share many of the same interests. But there was never anything romantic between them in the past.
"Their relationship developed very quickly in December after the X Factor final where One Direction gave their final performance before starting their hiatus."
Cheryl and Liam first met five years ago, when 17-year-old Paynis auditioned for The X Factor on which Chezzo was a judge.
They've been pals for a couple of years too, with Cheryl nominated Liam for that ice-bucket challenge thing back in the day, and Big Payno remixing her song 'I Don't Care'.
Now, apparently, friendship has blossomed into something more. EEK.
Another 'friend' apparently explained that Chezza has helped Liam deal with hiatus life, saying: "Liam was really struggling with the idea of life after the band to begin with — being in the spotlight and that level of fame had started to get to him.
"But he's been so happy with Cheryl. He's been telling people close to him that he's madly in love."
Our brains are boggled and our minds are reeling.
Obviously now everyone's looking for proof that this could all be true - with many speculating that it was Liam who took this trés saucy snap of Cheryl clad in nothing but a towel and heels last week.
There's also the fact that Liam commented on Cheryl's recent pre-BRITs instagram post, writing 'see you there babe', with a little winky face.
Then again, he does literally call everyone babe, so we really don't know what to think.
Cheryl officially split from her husband Jean-Bernard at the end of last year and filed for divorce citing 'unreasonable behaviour', although reports suggest their relationship was essentially over for many months before. Liam split from Sophia Smith in October.
