Liam Payne and Cheryl are a thing that is genuinely happening, and oh what a time to be alive.
In the biggest twist since actual turkey twizzlers, it was revealed this weekend that Liam is 'madly in love' these days with his former X Factor judge, and after the pair seemed to confirm the story with a super cute selfie, life changed as we knew it.
It turns out that this whole thang might have been going on for longer than we thought too, as insiders reckon the pair were openly flirting up a storm at the BRIT Awards last week.
Just before the BRITs kicked off, Chiam showed its first, not-so-subtle signs of romance on Instagram via some flirty comments on Cheryl's latest selfie - but the lovefest didn't stop with just a few heart eye emojis according to sources at heat magazine.
"There were a few people standing together, including Cheryl, 1D's Liam and Louis, and Nick Grimshaw," an insider spilled to the mag.
"Cheryl was telling everyone that she and Liam were working on a 'special music proect together'. All this time, she was looping her arm through his and stroking his arm.
"He was staring at her like a puppy dog. It was pretty flirty, in my opinion," they added.
It sounds like Chez is basically one of us though, as the source added that she admitted to being a BIG fan of the shirtless Insta photo that Liam head shared earlier that day, featuring his rippling cheesegrater abs of joy.
"She was joking 'I only came because I heard you'd be here', and said she spent ages in the car on the way to the awards looking at his torso shot."
"Cheryl also mentioned that she needed to look at all of his tattoos too – all over his body – 'from one tattoo fan to another'."
The secret spy, who clearly spent the whole night spying on 'em, also added that Liam and Chezza were "glancing over at each other" for the entire evening
WELL. And there we were worrying about stupid stuff like red carpet fashion and the award winners when there were much more important things to be concentrating on, aka the birth of this whole romance. AGH.
