One of the good things to come out of this whole One Direction hiatus thing is the prospect of loads of new solo music from the lads before they eventually get back in the studio together. Not only had Liam Payne been working with Juicy J, but Harry Styles has also been working on his own stuff and is apparently going for a 'rock 'n' roll' vibe.
Yup - word on the street (read: internet) is that Hazlan's looking to emulate Robbie Williams' success post-Take That and wants to go for a 'rockier' sound.
Having a chinwag with Hollywood Life, a source supposedly in the know said: "Harry has been very busy putting the finishing touches to his solo career, recording new material in London and just trying out new things. It's a new chapter in his life, and he wants to make sure that everything is right as he makes his next step.
"Harry is looking at Robbie Williams, and how he achieved success outside of Take That. He's working with the best songwriters and producers, aiming for a more rockier sound that'll be a lot different than what fans expect."
WELL THEN.
This all comes after fellow popstar-type Charlie Puth claimed Harreh's been looking to Paul McCartney off of The Beatles fame for inspiration for his solo record. He told The Sun: "It was very Paul McCartney-esque. The last time I saw Harry we talked about McCartneyesque chord changes."
Paul McCartney meets Robbie Williams with approximately 5x more hair? COUNT US IN.
What are you expecting from our Hazlan's solo album, then?
