Celeb-types and muggles alike are, quite rightly, calling out Kanye West over the lyrics of his My Life as Pablo track 'Famous;' in which he raps about the prospect of having sex with Taylor Swift. He also claims he 'made that bitch famous,' for which there just aren't enough eye roll emojis in the world.
ANYWAY, with like likes of Gigi Hadid and Calvin Harris all speaking out on the subject Taylor Swift's rep's now released a statement claiming she 'cautioned' 'Ye over his 'misogynistic' lyrics. Four for you, TayTay.
Oh, and apparently Kanye wanted her to tweet out the track from her account. Um you okay, bae?
Clearing up the controversy, Taylor's rep explained: "Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account.
"She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous'."
THE BLOODY CHEEK OF IT.
Meanwhile TayTay's BFF Gigi Hadid, who attended Kanye's Yeezy Season 3 show last night, tweeted: "My attendance somewhere does not mean I agree with everything being said in the music playing there. My friends know of my loyalty."
