Harry Styles Is Working On Some Solo Stuff With Jamie Scott

There have been more rumours about Harry Styles' solo career during One Direction's hiatus than we've had hot dinners, from Harold recruiting his own solo publicist to registering some solo songs and hiring a vocal coach.

It's all going on, eh? What hiatus?

Now, in a new development, a source reckons Hazza has now hired 1D songwriter Jamie Scott to help with his solo album.

Jamie's written on a bunch of One Direction tracks, including 'Story Of My Life', 'Drag Me Down' and 'You & I', and a source reckons he knows how to write a song to suit Harry's vocals.

There's also something about him wanting to 'beat Zayn Malik in the charts', but let's just ignore that bit for now because no thanks.

Said source told The Mirror: "Zayn beat Harry out of the traps by getting his solo material out first but Harry is confident playing the long game will pay off.

"Unlike Zayn, Harry doesn't want to stray too far and alienate the 1D fan base – but he does want to make his own mark. Jamie knows how to write a song that suits Harry's voice."

A source added that Harry's focus remains on singing rather than all of those many, many acting career rumours, claiming: "Harry is aware he was the most popular member of the band but is determined not to end up in a Robbie Williams-Gary Barlow situation or play second fiddle to Zayn."

All the band members are as popular as each other actually, k thanks source person.
